The SPOT is the marked area on the parking lot floor — that is all. Tent, table, chairs, display, banner and lighting are on you. Most SPOTs are 100 sq ft (about 10×10 ft, the size of a standard canopy); a few are larger, and the map shows each one's size before you buy.

No. This is a church parking lot, not a venue built for events: there is no electrical setup for the booths. If you need power, bring your own — a quiet generator or a battery power station — sized for the full five hours, with at least one extra hour of reserve beyond your estimate. In SOME areas it may be possible to run an extension cord, but that is an exception and has to be arranged with the organizers in advance: none of it gets solved on event day, and it cannot be your plan. A loud generator competes with the stage and with your neighbor: choose battery whenever you can.

Yes — your own. The venue has general lighting, but it was not designed to light the inside of a booth and the organizers cannot guarantee it will be enough at yours. The sun sets around 7:30 PM and the event runs until 9 PM: bring battery-powered LED lighting with at least an hour and a half to two hours of runtime — one bar or a small floodlight covers a 10×10 tent — and charge everything before you leave home. A dark booth at 7:30 PM sells less, no matter how good the product is.

Arrive at 2 PM. By 4 PM your SPOT must be fully set up — that is when the public comes in. Before 2 PM the space is in use by another organization, so there is no early access. If you genuinely need more time (slow-cooked barbecue, for example), ask the organizers in advance; we authorize these case by case. Teardown happens only after the official closing, at 9 PM.

No. Nothing may be attached, hung, taped or screwed to walls, fences, trees, poles or any structure on the premises — this is the single most important rule of the event. Everything you bring has to stand on its own, and your tent needs weights on all four legs: it gets windy late in the afternoon, and an unweighted tent becomes everyone's problem.

Not this edition. Inflatables, bounce houses and large rides are out for Brazilian Family Day 2026 — an organizers' decision: it is the first edition, and an inflatable needs a blower running non-stop, space the lot does not have, anchoring and its own insurance. What works here is what fits under your canopy: table activities, small games, a quick workshop inside your SPOT.

Children are always the parents' responsibility and stay within their line of sight — no activity that takes a child away from their family. Your activity is your responsibility: safe materials, nothing sharp within reach, and one of your adults always present at the booth. The event is open and foot traffic is heavy.

Yes, with your own hypoallergenic materials and hygiene between each child — you bring the water, sanitizer and trash bag, because there is no water hookup. Always ask the parent or guardian before painting. And paint on church property is a problem: tray and cloth underneath.

The event's main sound is the stage, and performing on stage is arranged with the organizers in advance — send your proposal early. At your booth, keep the volume low and out of your neighbor's way, on a battery speaker (there are no outlets).

No. The event asks the public to leave pets at home (only service animals are allowed), so there are no demonstrations with animals. What works here: products, photos and videos of your work, a price list and on-the-spot booking — pet businesses do very well at a family event, just not with the dog there.

Only with your own power — a portable battery printer works; a plug-in printer does not. A backdrop-and-light setup does very well here, but weight everything down (it gets windy late) and charge your batteries. And check with the organizers if you plan to set a tripod outside your SPOT.

There is no Wi-Fi on site. Bring your card reader charged and a data plan on your phone, and have a plan B: cash for change, Zelle, or your payment app's QR code printed and laminated. With a crowd in one place, the network gets slow exactly when the rush hits.

Each vendor collects their own trash, disposes of it in the designated places and leaves the space clean at the end, the way they found it. Bring your own trash bags: the volume one booth produces in five hours surprises first-timers.

Entirely yours. The booth space is yours during the event: what you set up, what you use and what you sell answer to you. The church's insurance covers the venue — it does not cover your operation, your equipment or your product — and the organizers are not liable for loss, damage or theft. Anyone bringing valuable equipment or merchandise should carry their own insurance. This is a non-profit community event run by the church: it works because everyone takes care of their own piece.

Your category is your flagship product, and no one else at the event has the same flagship — that is what you are buying. Variations and complementary items are still yours to sell: after your purchase you go over the rest of your offering with the organizers, through the vendor panel. What you cannot do is turn your booth into someone else's flagship.

SPOTs are non-refundable. You can swap SPOTs up to 1 hour before the event starts, using the link emailed to you (swapping to an equal-value spot is free; to a more expensive one you pay the difference). If something comes up, talk to the organizers — we will see what can be done, but a refund is not guaranteed. In case of force majeure, the organizers will seek a fair solution.
